The City of Española does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its programs, services, activities and employment practices. 

If you need auxiliary aids and services for effective communication (such as a sign language interpreter or print material in digital format), or reasonable modification to programs, services or activities, contact the ADA Coordinator as soon as possible, preferably a minimum of 3 days before the activity or event.

A grievance procedure is available to resolve complaints.

Americans with Disabilities Act Grievance Procedure

Complaints concerning discrimination on the basis of disability by the City of Española may be sent to Sally Baxter, (505) 747-6017 or sbaxter@espanolanm.gov .  The person filing the complaint will be contacted within 15 calendar days after receipt of the complaint to discuss the issue. A written response will be provided within 15 days of the discussion.
