   Property crime is escalating in the City of Espanola. Police do not have sufficient man and woman power to address "nonviolent" crimes. Neighborhoods that are interested in forming a Neighborhood Watch group can prove to be a powerful deterrent to property crime. Would the police department be willing to offer a meeting on how to form a Neighborhood Watch Group? Our neighborhood has asked Chief Jimenez and are awaiting a date to meet.

   Many of our neighborhoods and side streets are in desperate need of lighting. This lighting needs to meet the dark skies act by pointing downward as well. This is a public safety issue. If we can't...

   Many of our neighborhoods and side streets are in desperate need of lighting. This lighting needs to meet the dark skies act by pointing downward as well. This is a public safety issue. If we can't see who is out there we can't react or alert authorities if something is wrong. How have other cities accomplished this?
