Biography - Councilor Cecilia Lujan

Councilor Lujan is a life-long resident of Espaņola . She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the College of Santa Fe.
Councilor Cecilia Lujan was elected to the Governing Body in March 2006 for a four-year term. A few of Councilor Lujan’s top priorities for the City are financial accountability and stability, public safety, senior and youth activities. On council, she has continued to advocate for constituent’s concerns.
Councilor Lujan is currently employed by the Los Alamos National Laboratory. She has been with the Laboratory for approximately 21 years. Prior to joining LANL, she worked for the New Mexico Department of State Forestry.
Cecilia is also very active with church activities at Holy Cross Church. During her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors -- camping, fishing, hunting, biking, and skiing.
