Community Profile

The City of Espaņola is nestled in a mountain valley between the Jemez Mountains to the west and Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the east, with the Rio Grande River winding down the center. The city is a unique tri-cultural community, rich in history and diversity that is vibrant and readily accessible to and from all areas of northern and north central New Mexico. As a progressive and thriving community the City of Espaņola provides all of the basic needs and requirements for a modern municipality. The community offers the benefits and convenience of larger cities but maintains a rural atmosphere. Liberal and forward looking, the city offers travelers and new businesses, alike a different look and feel to relax or conduct business.
