JOB POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The City of Española is seeking to hire the following positions:

RECREATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR

POSITION IS FULL-TIME

Under the supervision of the Recreation Director is responsible for the development, organizing, and implementation of group recreation programs related to outdoor summer and indoor aquatic, basketball and physical development activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Have knowledge of basic psychology, techniques and methods in organizing groups in a recreation setting. Ability to use volunteers effectively. Have skills in the development of physical training procedures in a recreation atmosphere.

A Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in recreation and/or two (2) years experience in the above, and experience in budget analysis, procurement procedures, and personnel supervision are a plus.
