Mayor Joseph Maestas delivered the very First State of the City Address on Monday, October 30, 2006, at 6:00 PM. The meeting was held at the Northern College Fine Arts Auditorium. Mayor Maestas informed the citizens of Espanola about the current and up coming projects within the city government. The presentation included accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities for each department of the Municipal Government. He thanked the City Council and all city staff for all their support and hard work. Mayor Maestas left us with his final words of encouragement “OUR BEST DAYS LIE AHEAD ”.
